Splinter Cell Blacklist Ran Out of Memory Error – Fix
This is a common problem and the developers are fixing this issue, you can try the first patch or I have a temporary fix, just run the game in Windowed Mode. Go to Documents\Ubisoft\Blacklist\VideoSettings.ini, now find the line, “WindowStyleFinal=1” and change it to 0 or 2.

After installing the first patch 1.01 update the game isn’t starting and says, Ubisoft Game Launcher.exe can’t be found. To fix this issue, follow the steps below:
- First of all, backup the save game folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher
- Now delete the whole launcher folder
- Then Re-install Uplay client

Splinter Cell Blacklist Crash to Desktop or Random Crashes – Fix
If game is crashing on startup and crashes to desktop or have random crashes in different places, you should run your game in Windowed Mode. If you can’t run game in windowed mode then go toDocuments\Ubisoft\Blacklist\VideoSettings.ini, open it in Notepad, find these lines:
0 = Windowed
1 = Fullscreen (default)
2 = Windowed Fullscreen
Here you can change the values like if you want to run game in windowed mode, set the value “0” to “1”.
You can also try to change windows final style to make some effective changes, search “WindowStyleFinal=1″ and change it to 0 or 2.
Splinter Cell Blacklist Key Code already in use – Fix
In case, when you launch game from Uplay client, and asked for activation key; and upon entering key it says, “This CD Key or Activation Code is already in use with another Uplay Account. For more information, please contact Ubisoft Support.” To fix this problem, follow below steps:
- Run Uplay Client
- Click on Gear icon at top-right
- Select Change User from the list
- Now login with different account and try to give activation key here
